Seeing great potential for small Hungarian technology and services companies to grow and expand quickly and profitably in the coming years, Zoltan Bruckner founded Primus Capital Management in 2001. Bruckner brings to Primus 12 years of experience in venture capital, structured finance and consulting, gained in the US, EU and Central Europe.

Bruckner manages Primus Capital Management Advisory Ltd. with the help of a Board of Advisers made up of eight successful entrepreneurs, attorneys, human resources and M&A professionals with unique abilities to advise portfolio companies.  Investors in Primus Capital, located in the US and Europe, are leaders in their fields who help accelerate the growth of our portfolio companies by facilitating strategic partnerships and offering advice based on their specializations.

Prior to starting Primus, Bruckner was Country Manager for Hungary at 3TS Venture Partners AG, a $70 million venture capital fund jointly owned by the U.K.'s 3i Plc and Finland's Sitra. During Bruckner's tenure, 3TS invested in several Hungarian technology companies.

Earlier, Bruckner gained experience with small and medium-sized East European and Central Asian companies in the Structured Commodity Finance group at ING Barings headquarters in Amsterdam, financing exporters to the EU and the US.  Prior to joining ING Barings, Bruckner developed East European market entry strategies for US companies at A.T. Kearney's consulting practice in Washington D.C.

Bruckner holds an M.A. in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, DC, and a B.A. from Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, NY. He also studied at Budapest's ELTE University and at Schiller University in Jena, Germany.

A Hungarian national, Bruckner is a native Hungarian speaker fluent in English and German.
